We created The Lone Buffalo to be a restaurant and a brewery under one roof with one goal: to serve good food and beer in a comfortable atmosphere. We believe in the idea of “slow food” and we want our guests to savor what we offer.
Chef Brok and his brigade use fresh products from our own farm and from other local farmers and producers. Everything on the menu is freshly cooked, every day, and varies with the seasons. Our beer is crafted, using traditional methods and equipment, from the best malts and hops available – including some from our own farm. We take care not to get in the way of the complex flavors of the simple ingredients in our food and beer. We won’t get in the way of your enjoyment of either – take your time and come back soon!

We believe that making exceptional beers requires a well-grounded approach. Our starting lineup focuses on making simple beers great and will take your craft beer appreciation to the next level. Connoisseurs of craft beer can expect more adventurous beers such as our imminent double IPA to blow their pallets away as we crank up production and expand our experimental portfolio in the initial months.
Our locally sourced menu will feature creative dishes prepared by Executive Chef Brok Kellog and Chef de Cuisine Scott Seese. The neighboring taproom, where guests can sample Tangled Roots’ latest brews, will offer lighter fare, including Bavarian-style pretzels, in a casual atmosphere.
